Jeanette Biedermann (born February 22, 1981), professionally known as Jeanette, is a German pop singer-songwriter, actress and television personality.
Her second album Delicious was released in 2001 and peaked at number 16 on the German Album Charts. The album was certified Gold. Featuring the hits How It's Got To Be and No More Tears. In 2002 Jeanette released her third album Rock My Life (2002) and it became her first Top Ten album in Germany and was also certified Gold. She has released four singles Rock My Life, We've Got Tonight, It's Over Now and Right Now and all of them have managed it to chart into the Top Ten of the German Album Charts. One year later she released her fourth album Break On Through (2003) The album is her most successful album in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The album charted in the Top Ten number 6 and is the first album with a Platinum certification. The first single of the album was Rockin' On Heaven's Floor.
Jeanette has played the main role of TV series Anna und die Liebe since August 2008. In 2009 she returned to music business with a new album (her sixth) Undress to the Beat (2009). The first single is "Undress to the Beat". By far she managed it to sell more than 10 million albums & singles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in ten years.
